2026 Range Rover Models Aerial view

The Land Rover brand's unique knack for blending refinement and ruggedness is on full display in both the 2026 Range Rover and 2026 Range Rover Sport. These powerful luxury SUVs can be driven virtually anywhere, and the ride will always be exquisite, engaging, and connected. But how do these models differ? Land Rover Asheville compares the two superb, signature SUVs.

Passenger and Cargo Space

The most notable difference between these two new Land Rover SUVs is their size. The Range Rover seats five passengers, with a long-wheelbase option that increases occupancy to seven. In the five-passenger configuration, the Range Rover offers 28.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind its second row, and 65.0 cubic feet with the second row folded. The seven-passenger configuration adds a third row, behind which is a 7.5-cubic-foot cargo hold. Folding this down creates 30.3 cubic feet behind the second row, and folding both rows expands the area to 72.4 cubic feet.

Meanwhile, the 2026 Range Rover Sport exclusively seats five passengers. It offers 31.9 cubic feet behind its second row, and 53.0 cubic feet behind the first row.
